Selecting the right kitchen countertop is one of the most impactful decisions you’ll make in a remodel. Countertops define the look and feel of your kitchen, affect daily functionality, and influence long-term maintenance. Below is a clear, practical guide to help you choose the best material, style, and layout for your needs.
Key considerations
Durability: How the surface stands up to heat, scratches, stains, and impact. Consider your cooking habits and household traffic.

Material options
Tile: Durable, many options in sizes and style, the more affordable option.
Slabs: Quartz, Granite, Marble. Depending on the slab, this option can be the more costly option, but it does have the advantage of no grout joints.

Past Project
Spacious and Cozy Kitchen Bathed in Natural Light.
Rustic, knotty birchwood raised panel cabinets topped with simple crown molding are designed to give this kitchen a warm, natural charm. The large central island features a white quartz countertop with subtle veining, seating for four with minimalist barstools, and a cooktop to engage with guests. The kitchen backsplash was the last design choice to ensure it pulls the Spanish & Mediterranean style our clients desired. The French-door refrigerator — is integrated into the cabinetry for a clean look, but also becomes a statement piece all at once.
